We took a walk
Up the mountain
The path was muddy
I was hesitant
But
Let me be venturous
And we started the journey
The air was crisp and clean
The running stream water
Was pleasant for the ears
He took a branch
Turned it into a walking stick
Gave it to me
He also held my hand
Which was a double assurance
Not much further
The little road was covered in leaves
It made walking much easier
To my relief
The road in front
Was no longer muddy
I enjoyed the walk
And I heard the mountains singing
‘Climb every mountain
Search every stream
Follow every byway
Till you find your dream’
